GovWell now supports in-place record renewals, creating a new version and restarting the workflow without generating a separate child record.

We’ve added a new way to handle record renewals.
In addition to the existing method of creating a different linked record, you can now renew a record in place—without generating a separate child record.
This new option will:
🗂️ Create a new version of the existing record
🔄 Automatically start the workflow from the first step
It’s a cleaner, more streamlined way to manage renewals for licenses and registrations.
